Summary:To provide a terminal-equipped battery that is easy to conduct positioning of external terminals to be attached to a flat-type battery and thus can improve the location accuracy of the external terminals, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A terminal-equipped battery includes an insulation case 3 to accommodate a flat-type battery 2 having an outer can 21, a seal can 22, and an electrode body 23, and an external terminal 4 and an external terminal 5 to be connected to the flat-type battery 2. The flat-type battery 2 is accommodated in the insulation case 3 through an opening 31. The insulation case 3 has an opening 32 causing the outer can 21 to be exposed and an opening 33 causing the seal can 22 to be exposed. The external terminals 4, 5 respectively have flat parts 41, 51 and tip parts 42, 52 extending from the flat parts 41, 51. The flat parts 41, 51 are respectively fitted into the openings 32, 33 so as to be restricted from the movement in the front-and-rear and right-left directions to position the tip parts 42, 52 of the external terminals 4, 5, and are fixed to the outer can 21 and the seal can 22 via the openings 32, 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】扁平形電池に取付ける外部端子の位置決めが容易であり、外部端子の位置精度を向上することができる端子付き電池及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】外装缶21、封口缶22及び電極体23を有する扁平形電池2を収容する絶縁ケース3と、扁平形電池2に接続される外部端子4及び外部端子5とを備えている。扁平形電池2は、開口部31を通じて絶縁ケース3に収容される。絶縁ケース3は、外装缶21を露出させる開口部32と、封口缶22を露出させる開口部33をと有している。外部端子4、5は、平坦部41、51と平坦部41、51から延びる先端部42、52とを有している。平坦部41、51は各々、前後左右方向への移動が規制されるように開口部32、33に嵌合されて外部端子4、5の先端部42、52の位置決めをし、開口部32、33を介して外装缶21及び封口缶22に固定されている。【選択図】図3
