Summary:To provide a fuel cell capable of preventing retention of small bubbles of carbon dioxide in a fuel flow groove formed in a fuel electrode to suppress a decrease in power generation amount.SOLUTION: A fuel electrode current collector of a fuel electrode has a fuel flow groove for guiding fuel from a fuel flow inlet to a fuel flow outlet. The fuel flow groove includes a plurality of flow groove portions extending from one side edge side of the fuel flow surface to the other side edge side facing the one side edge and arranged side by side so as to be spaced from one another at predetermined intervals. The plurality of flow groove portions are provided so as to form a plurality of adjacent paired flow groove portions, the fuel flowing directions of the paired flow groove portions being opposite to each other. With respect to each flow groove portion of the first pair of flow groove portions to which fuel is first supplied from the fuel flow inlet, at least a portion having a predetermined length on the inflow side is formed to be inclined upward in a downstream direction at a predetermined first inclination angle or more with respect to a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】燃料極に形成された燃料流通溝において、二酸化炭素の小さな気泡の滞留を防ぎ、発電量の低下を抑止することができる燃料電池を提供する。【解決手段】燃料極の燃料極集電体は、燃料流入口から燃料流出口へと燃料を導く燃料流通溝を有している。燃料流通溝は、燃料流通面の一方の側縁側から、一方の側縁に対向する他方の側縁側へ延び、互いに所定間隔を空けて並列配置された複数の流通溝部を有し、複数の流通溝部は、燃料の流れる方向が逆方向となる互いに隣り合う複数組となるように設けられ、燃料流入口から最初に燃料を供給される1組目の各流通溝部は、少なくとも流入側の所定長さの部分が、水平方向に対して所定の第1傾斜角度以上で下流方向上方側へ傾斜するように形成されている。【選択図】図3
