To provide a composition having high formulation stability in an oil-in-water type emulsion composition in which an ester oil or a vegetable oil is used as an oil agent.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which comprises the following components (A) to (D): (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of an ester oil which is liquid at 25°C and a vegetable oil which is liquid at 25°C, (B) a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil having an ethylene oxide average addition molar number of 20 to 30, (C) one or more selected from sorbitan monoisostearate and sorbitan diisostearate and (D) water, wherein the content mass ratio (B)/(C) of the component (B) to the component (C) is more than 1 and less than 20 and the average particle diameter of emulsion particles is 300 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】エステル油や植物油を油剤として用いた水中油型乳化組成物において、製剤安定性の高い組成物を提供する。【解決手段】次の成分（Ａ）〜（Ｄ）：（Ａ）２５℃で液状のエステル油および２５℃で液状の植物油からなる群から選択される少なくとも１種、（Ｂ）エチレンオキシドの平均付加モル数が２０〜３０であるポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油、（Ｃ）モノイソステアリン酸ソルビタン、およびジイソステアリン酸ソルビタンから選ばれる１種以上、（Ｄ）水を含み、前記成分（Ｃ）に対する前記成分（Ｂ）の含有質量比（Ｂ）／（Ｃ）が１を超え、２０未満であり、乳化粒子の平均粒子径が３００ｎｍ以下である、水中油型乳化組成物。【選択図】なし
