Summary:To achieve, in a contact device used in a high-electrical capacity relay, an airtight terminal with which a more airtight contact device is achieved, and a relay contact device to which the airtight terminal is applied, and, at the same time, to provide a relay contact device improved in robustness of a sealing part due to a conventional configuration and further improved in reliability of airtightness.SOLUTION: An airtight terminal includes: a metal container 12 having a vent 11; a pipe lead 13 that is inserted into the vent; an insulation material 14 that seals the metal container and the pipe lead; and a terminal block 15 comprising a low-resistance metal which penetrates the pipe lead and is fixed to the pipe lead. The terminal block comprises at least a body part 16 and a head part 17.
