To provide a secondary battery device capable of easily controlling charge/discharge, in a secondary use situation.SOLUTION: A secondary battery device includes a secondary battery, a storage unit for storing at least a program, a control unit for controlling charge/discharge of the secondary battery by executing the program, and a reception unit capable of receiving a switching instruction indicating the secondary battery is switched from an in-vehicle use to another use.
