To stop sound emission by reproduction devices used in shops in a commercial facility or the like in an emergency.SOLUTION: An emergency sound elimination system 1 includes: an emergency sound elimination master machine 2 capable of wirelessly transmitting an emergency signal; and emergency sound elimination slave machines 3a, 3b comprising an input terminal, an output terminal, a sound elimination unit, a communication unit, and a control unit. The sound elimination unit is capable of performing switching between a sound presence state in which an acoustic signal input to the input terminal is made to be output from the output terminal and a sound elimination state in which an acoustic signal input to the input terminal is inhibited from being output from the output terminal.
