Summary: | To provide a battery capable of discharging a power after an overcurrent is disconnected by a weld of one part of an electric conduction structure between an electrode group and an electrode terminal.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a battery comprises an electrode group, a collector tab, a lead member, and an electrode terminal. The collector tab is projected in the electrode group, and connected to the lead member at an end part opposite to a root position of a projection part. In the lead member, a joint part is formed at a connection part with the collector tab. The lead member is thicker than the collector tab. The lead member is connected to the electrode terminal at a position different from a position of the connection part with the collector tab. In the collector tab, a tab curving part is provided between the root position of the projection part and the connection position to the lead member, and the collector tab is curved in the tab curving part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】電極群と電極端子との間の通電構造の一部での溶断によって過電流が遮断された後において、放電することが可能な電池を提供すること。【解決手段】実施形態によれば、電池は、電極群、集電タブ、リード部材及び電極端子を備える。集電タブは、電極群において突出し、突出部分の根元位置とは反対側の端部で、リード部材に接続される。リード部材では、集電タブとの接続部分に、接合部が形成され、リード部材は、集電タブに比べて厚い。リード部材は、集電タブとの接続部分とは異なる位置で電極端子に接続される。集電タブにおいて突出部分の根元位置とリード部材への接続位置との間には、タブ湾曲部が設けられ、タブ湾曲部では、集電タブが湾曲される。【選択図】図3 |
