Summary: | To hold down an amount of heat generation of a battery in a nail pricking test.SOLUTION: A secondary battery module disclosed herein comprises: a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery; and an elastic body arrayed together with the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and receiving a load from the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery toward a direction of the array. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: an electrode body arranged by laminating a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator to be disposed between the positive and negative electrodes; and a housing for encasing the electrode body. The elastic body has a compression modulus of 5-120 MPa. The positive electrode has a positive electrode current collector containing Al and an element other than Al. The positive electrode current collector has a thermal conductivity of 65-150 W/(m K). The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material layer having a first layer and a second layer which are formed in turn from a negative electrode current collector side. The first layer has first carbon-based active material particles of 3 MPa or smaller in 10%-bearing force.
