To provide a method for redefining, redesigning and reconstructing an ecosystem with backcast thinking, and also provide an information management system for reconstructing an ecosystem with backcast thinking to improve the economic value of a land with a low economic value.SOLUTION: For a state before reconstructing an ecosystem and an ecosystem that is a guidance target by redesigning the ecosystem with backcast thinking, information on each state and its economic value is stored in an ecological information DB 2550 and a value information DB 2530.
