Summary:To provide a password authentication system which can maintain a high security level by using passwords in small digits.SOLUTION: An authentication process of a password authentication system outputs an operation result in large digits by performing logic operation by using user passwords stored in the brain of a user and a unique code stored secretly in a terminal device and set for each Web site, and performs authentication processing with the operation result as authentication passwords. Therefore, the authentication processing is performed by using complicated passwords in the large digits only by storing passwords in the small digits in the brain of the user. Moreover, authentication passwords different for Web sites are output by using one authentication password.EFFECT: A risk for a user of forgetting passwords can be eliminated and a security level of password authentication can be remarkably improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】桁数の少ないパスワードを用いて高度なセキュリティレベルを維持できるパスワード認証システムを提供する。【解決手段】パスワード認証システムの認証プロセスは、利用者の頭脳に記憶されたユーザパスワードと端末装置に秘匿的に保存されWebサイト毎に設定された固有コードを用いて論理演算を行なって多数桁の演算結果を出力し、その演算結果を認証パスワードとして認証処理を行なう。従って、利用者が少数桁のパスワードを頭脳に記憶するだけで、多数桁の複雑なパスワードを用いて認証処理が行なわれる。さらに、１つの認証パスワードを用いてWebサイトごとに異なる認証パスワードが出力される。【効果】利用者がパスワードを失念するリスクがなくなると共にパスワード認証のセキュリティレベルを格段に向上させることができる。【選択図】図２
