To provide a boiler which carries out heating with heat generation means having a heat generation body provided within a container, and can easily lower a required heatproof temperature of a device provided in a circulation path through which gas within the container is circulated.SOLUTION: A boiler includes a heat generation body, a container within which the heat generation body is provided and which can be filled with gas having a specific heat higher than that of air, and a circulation path including a gas path disposed in and outside the container as a path through which the gas circulates.
