To provide an ink jet recording device which can perform position adjustment of a head unit with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device includes: a head base; a head unit; and an adjustment mechanism which is for adjusting the position of the head unit inserted into a mounting space. The adjustment mechanism has a guide screw, a moving member which has a shaft hole screwed with the guide screw and moves in an axial direction of the guide screw by rotation with respect to the guide screw, an operation member for rotating the moving member, and an adjustment member which has a first abutting section abutting on the moving member and a second abutting section abutting on the head unit.
