Summary:To solve the problem that time lag may occur before a cooling fan stops, in a case of trying to stop the rotation of the cooling fan attached to a rotational shaft of an internal combustion engine through a fan clutch.SOLUTION: A vehicle is equipped with an electric fan driven by an electric motor, and a mechanical fan driven in conjunction with an internal combustion engine via a fan clutch. When a required air volume is less than a predetermined value, while the electric motor is driven, the fan clutch is switched to a non-engaged state to drive only the electric fan. When the required air volume is eqaul to or above the predetermined value, the electric motor is driven and the fan clutch is switched to an engaged state, to control both the electric fan and the mechanical fan to be driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ファンクラッチを介して内燃機関の回転軸に取り付けられた冷却ファンの回転を停止させようとした場合、冷却ファンが停止するまでの間にタイムラグが生じてしまう。
