Summary:To provide a steering assistance device capable of stopping steering assistance according to a user's intention.SOLUTION: A steering-angle-servo-stop determination unit 24 determines whether or not to stop parking assistance operation while the parking assistance operation is being performed. Specifically, steering torque detected by a torque sensor 13 is used for the stop determination. Further, a steering angle deviation, which is a difference between a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor 14 and an indication steering angle input from an IPA ECU 8 into an EPS ECU 7, is obtained, and the steering angle deviation is used for the stop determination. For example, when the steering torque and the steering angle deviation exceed the torque threshold value and the steering angle deviation threshold value, respectively, for a time period of a time threshold value or longer, the steering assistance is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ユーザの意思に応じて操舵支援を停止させることができる、操舵支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】舵角サーボ停止判定部24は、駐車支援動作が行われている間、駐車支援動作を停止させるか否かを判定する。具体的には、その停止判定には、トルクセンサ13により検出される操舵トルクが使用される。また、舵角センサ14により検出される舵角とIPAECU8からEPSECU7に入力される指示舵角との差分である舵角偏差が求められて、その舵角偏差が停止判定に使用される。たとえば、操舵トルクおよび舵角偏差がそれぞれトルク閾値および舵角偏差閾値を超えた状態が時間閾値以上継続した場合、操舵支援が停止される。【選択図】図2
