Summary:To provide a fastening device which can automatically change the magnitude of clamp force for performing rough processing and finish processing of a hollow workpiece.SOLUTION: In a workpiece fixture, a load transmission member is movable between a contact position for transmitting a load from a cylindrical section 43 to a pressing member in a state of contacting the pressing member 45 and a non-contact position in a state of non-contact with the pressing member 45. An operation member 51 is used for an operation for moving the load transmission member between the contact position and the non-contact position. The load transmission member is positioned at the contact position in rough processing, and when the cylindrical section is rotated with respect to a rod screw 35, a large first load from the load transmission member is applied to the pressing member. A controller performs movement control of an operation tool in finish processing so as to move the load transmission member from the contact position to the non-contact position. Thereby, the first load from the load transmission member is not applied to the pressing member and the load applied to the pressing member becomes a small second load applied as spring force from a compression spring 47.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】中空ワークの荒加工及び仕上げ加工を行うためのクランプ力の大きさを自動的に変更できる締め付け装置を提供する。【解決手段】ワーク固定治具において、荷重伝達部材は、押さえ部材45に接触した状態で筒状部43からの荷重を押さえ部材に伝達する接触位置と、押さえ部材45と非接触の状態の非接触位置との間で移動可能である。操作部材51は、荷重伝達部材を接触位置と非接触位置との間で移動させる操作に用いられる。荒加工時には荷重伝達部材が接触位置にあり、筒状部を棒ネジ35に対して回転させると、荷重伝達部材から大きな第1荷重が押さえ部材に作用する。コントローラは、仕上げ加工時には、操作工具を移動制御することで、荷重伝達部材を接触位置から非接触位置に移動させる。それにより荷重伝達部材から第1荷重が押さえ部材に作用しなくなり、押さえ部材に作用する荷重は圧縮バネ47からバネ力として作用する小さな第2荷重になる。【選択図】図8
