To provide a dust collector capable of normally removing dust on the surface of a sheet-like object having an edge end part continuously arranged with projection piece parts at intervals in a longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: In a dust collector having a discharge port 30 and suction ports 31, 32 being oppositely arranged to a part contacting with the support part (15) of a sheet-like object 100 to be conveyed while contacting with the support part (15) and extending in a direction crossing a conveying direction at a prescribed interval in the conveying direction of the sheet-like object 100, a gas on the surface of the sheet-like object 100 is sucked through the suction ports 31, 32 while discharging the gas from the discharge port 30 to the surface of the sheet-like object 100.
