Summary:To provide a fuel cell system capable of simplifying a structure while performing a stable differential pressure control, and provide a control method of the same.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 310 comprises: a fuel cell 313; a turbocharger 411; an exhaust fuel gas line 343 supplying an exhaust fuel gas L3 to a combustion chamber 422; an exhaust oxidizing gas line 333 supplying an exhaust oxidizing gas A3 to the combustion chamber 422; a fuel gas supply line 328 supplying a fuel gas exhausted from the combustion chamber 422 to a turbine 423; an oxidizing gas supply line 331 supplying an oxidizing gas A2 compressed by a compressor 421 to an air electrode 113; an adjustment valve 347 provided at the exhaust fuel gas line 343; and a control device 20 controlling a difference pressure between a pressure of the air electrode 113 and a pressure of a fuel electrode 109 in the fuel cell 313 by controlling the adjustment valve 347.
