Summary:To provide an engine with a supercharger capable of both improving exhaust emission control performance and improving supercharging response.SOLUTION: An engine 2 with a supercharger comprises: a compressor 41 of an exhaust turbocharger 4; an electric supercharger 5 provided downstream of the compressor in an intake passage 31 and driven when the operating state of the engine is within a predetermined low speed region; an exhaust emission control device 6 provided in an exhaust passage 32; a turbine 42 of the exhaust turbocharger installed on the downstream side with respect to the exhaust emission device, in the exhaust passage; an EGR system 7 that has EGR passages 71, 72 connecting a portion between the compressor and the electric supercharger in the intake passage and a portion between the exhaust emission control device and the turbine in the exhaust passage to each other, and returns part of exhaust serving as EGR gas to the intake passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】排気の浄化性能の向上と過給レスポンスの向上とを両立させることができる過給機付きエンジンを提供する。【解決手段】過給機付きエンジン2は、排気ターボ過給機4のコンプレッサ41と、吸気通路31におけるコンプレッサよりも下流に設けられかつ、エンジンの運転状態が所定の低回転領域内にある場合に駆動する電動過給機5と、排気通路32に設けられた排気浄化装置6と、排気通路において、排気浄化装置よりも下流に設けられた、排気ターボ過給機のタービン42と、吸気通路におけるコンプレッサと電動過給機との間の部位と、排気通路における排気浄化装置とタービンとの間の部位とを互いに接続するEGR通路71、72を有しかつ、排気の一部をEGRガスとして、吸気通路に還流するEGRシステム7と、を備えている。【選択図】図1
