To provide a parking support device capable of suppressing lengthening of time required for parking support and capable of restraining ride quality from being deteriorated due to sudden braking.SOLUTION: A route generation part 52 makes an area determination for determining which of a presence area with an obstacle when a vehicle is in motion, an absence area without the obstacle when the vehicle is in motion and an unclear area with unclearness of the presence or absence of the obstacle is an area around the vehicle, including a parking route, on the basis of three-dimensional object recognition by a recognition processing part 51.
