Summary:To provide a connection terminal in which a box-shaped connection part can be prevented from opening.SOLUTION: A connection terminal 1 comprises a box-shaped connection part 11 having: a bottom wall 3; one lateral wall 5 and another lateral wall 7 which are erected on both sides in the width direction of the bottom wall 3; and a ceiling wall 9 which is disposed on the opposite side to the bottom wall 3 for the one lateral wall 5 and the other lateral wall 7. The ceiling wall 9 has: a lower ceiling wall 15 which is formed such that the one lateral wall 5 is bent at a lower bent part 13 to the other lateral wall 7 side; and an upper ceiling wall 19 which is formed such that the other lateral wall 7 is bent at an upper bent part 17 to the one lateral wall 5 side and is made to upwardly overlap the lower ceiling wall 15. On the lower bent part 13 side, the lower ceiling wall 15 is provided with a protruding part 21 which protrudes to the one lateral wall 5 side.
