Summary:To make it easier to identify a large number of nematodes by visual observation and also by AI image recognition, and to facilitate an evaluation of tracking behavior, in a high-sensitivity and high-specificity cancer test method (N-Nose method).SOLUTION: An evaluation of tracking behavior using unmodified wild nematodes (Caenorhabditis elegans) in which carbon dot luminescent materials are contained in bodies or digestive tracts, or adsorbed on body surfaces to impart luminescence, is performed for a specimen sample such as urine. The carbon dot luminescent material is a luminescent material having a particle size of 1 nm to 10 nm which is synthesized by heating a raw material solution which exhibits fluorescence or phosphorescence by photoexcitation and contains at least one or more kinds of low-molecular-weight organic compound containing nitrogen or oxygen in addition to at least carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】高感度と高特異度のがんの検査法(N−Nose法)において、多数の線虫を目視やAI画像認識においてもより識別し易くし走性行動の評価を容易にする。【解決手段】カーボンドット発光材料が、体内又は消化管内に含まれるか、又は体表面に吸着して発光性が付与された遺伝子改変されていない野生型線虫(Caenorhabditis elegans)を用いて、尿等の検体サンプルに対し走性行動評価を行なうこと、上記カーボンドット発光材料は、光励起により蛍光性又は燐光性を示し、かつ少なくとも炭素原子以外に窒素または酸素を含む低分子有機化合物を少なくとも1種以上含む原料溶液を加熱することにより合成された粒径1nm〜10nmの発光材料である。【選択図】なし
