Summary: | To present both of vibration and heat feeling to a user.SOLUTION: A tactile presentation device includes at least one dielectric layer 20, a plurality of electrode layers 21 and 22 sandwiching the dielectric layer 20, and a DEA 12 having a first insulation layer 23 as a presentation layer which is stacked on the at least one electrode layer 21 for constituting an outer most layer, and a driving unit which applies a voltage between the electrode layers 21 and 22 sandwiching the dielectric layer 20. The dielectric layer 20 includes an expanding/contracting section 20A which expands/contracts by application of a voltage, and a heating section 20B which generates heat by applying a voltage. Vibration is presented to a user via the first insulation layer 23 by applying a low frequencies expansion/contraction voltage to between the electrode layers 21 and 22 sandwiching the expanding/contracting section 20A via the driving unit, while heat feeling is presented to the user via the first insulation layer 23 by applying a heat generation voltage having a higher frequency than the expansion/contraction voltage to between the electrode layers 21 and 22 sandwiching the heating section 20B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】使用者に振動及び熱感の双方を提示すること。【解決手段】触感提示装置は、少なくとも1つの誘電層20、誘電層20を挟む複数の電極層21,22、及び少なくとも1つの電極層21に積層されて最外層を構成する提示層としての第1絶縁層23を有するDEA12と、誘電層20を挟む電極層21,22間に電圧を印加する駆動部とを備えている。誘電層20は、電圧の印加により伸縮する伸縮部20Aと、電圧の印加により発熱する発熱部20Bとを有している。駆動部を通じて、伸縮部20Aを挟む電極層21,22間に対して低周波の伸縮電圧を印加することにより、第1絶縁層23を介して使用者に振動を提示する一方、発熱部20Bを挟む電極層21,22間に対して伸縮電圧よりも高周波の発熱電圧を印加することにより、第1絶縁層23を介して使用者に熱感を提示する。【選択図】図2 |
