Summary:To provide a steering control device capable of appropriately monitoring a state of a transmission mechanism for transmitting rotation of a motor to a steering shaft.SOLUTION: A steering control device controls a steering device having a steering side motor for generating motor torque as power for moving a rack shaft so as to steer a steering wheel of a vehicle, and a transmission mechanism for transmitting rotation of the steering side motor to the rack shaft. The steering control device includes a CPU 50 for monitoring a state of the transmission mechanism. The CPU 50 executes processing of a load amount calculation processing part 71 for calculating a load amount L acting on the transmission mechanism, processing of an accumulated value calculation processing part 72 for calculating a damage amount Dmint that is a value obtained by accumulating the load amount L calculated by the load amount calculation processing part 71, and processing for determining whether the damage amount Dmint calculated by the accumulated value calculation processing part 72 is equal to or more than an abnormal determination value Dth so as to detect abnormality of the transmission mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】モータの回転を転舵シャフトに伝達する伝動機構の状態を適切に監視できる操舵制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】操舵制御装置は、車両の転舵輪を転舵させるべくラック軸を移動させるための動力となるモータトルクを発生する転舵側モータと、当該転舵側モータの回転をラック軸に伝達する伝動機構とを有する操舵装置を制御対象としている。操舵制御装置は、伝動機構の状態を監視するCPU50を備えている。そして、CPU50は、伝動機構に作用する負荷量Lを算出する負荷量算出処理部71の処理と、負荷量算出処理部71で算出された負荷量Lを累積して得られる値であるダメージ量Dmintを算出する累積値算出処理部72の処理と、伝動機構の異常を検出するべく、累積値算出処理部72で算出されたダメージ量Dmintが異常判定値Dth以上であるか否かを判定する処理とを実行するようにしている。【選択図】図4
