Summary:To provide a steering control device capable of appropriately monitoring a state of a transmission mechanism for transmitting rotation of a motor to a steering shaft.SOLUTION: A steering control device controls a steering device having a steering side motor for generating motor torque as power for moving a rack shaft so as to steer a steering wheel of a vehicle, and a transmission mechanism for transmitting rotation of the steering side motor to the rack shaft. The steering control device includes a CPU for monitoring a state of the transmission mechanism. The CPU executes processing of a step SA10 for acquiring a detection result of the steering side rotation angle sensor, and processing of a step SA20 for determining whether the steering angle acquired by the steering side rotation angle sensor exceeds each end so as to detect abnormality of the transmission mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】モータの回転を転舵シャフトに伝達する伝動機構の状態を適切に監視できる操舵制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】操舵制御装置は、車両の転舵輪を転舵させるべくラック軸を移動させるための動力となるモータトルクを発生する転舵側モータと、当該転舵側モータの回転をラック軸に伝達する伝動機構とを有する操舵装置を制御対象としている。操舵制御装置は、伝動機構の状態を監視するCPUを備えている。そして、CPUは、転舵側回転角センサの検出結果を取得する上記ステップSA10の処理と、伝動機構の異常を検出するべく、転舵側回転角センサで取得した転舵角が各エンドを超える状態であるか否かを判定する上記ステップSA20の処理とを実行するようにしている。【選択図】図3
