Summary:To analyze the progression direction of waves by a simple device construction.SOLUTION: A wave analysis system 10 includes: a buoy 12 installed on water; at least one photographing means 14 for photographing the image of the buoy 12 and installed at a fixed position unaffected by waves; and analysis means 16 for analyzing a progression direction T of waves having occurred in the surrounding of the buoy 12, on the basis of the image of the buoy 12 photographed by the photographing means 14. The analysis means 16, for example, calculates the length of a major axis 42 of an elliptical trajectory as the trajectory of the buoy 12 that moves under influence of waves and the length of a major axis equivalent portion 44 that is equivalent to the major axis 42 when the elliptical trajectory of the buoy 12 is viewed from the photographing means 14, and analyzes the progression direction T of waves on the basis of a ratio of these. Thus, the system can analyze the progression direction T of waves though having a simple construction utilizing the buoy 12, the photographing means 14 and the analysis means 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】単純な装置構成で波浪の進行方向を解析する。【解決手段】波浪解析システム10は、水上に設置される浮標12と、波浪の影響を受けない固定位置に設置され、浮標12の画像を撮影する少なくとも1つの撮影手段14と、撮影手段14により撮影された浮標12の画像に基づいて、浮標12の周囲で発生した波浪の進行方向Tを解析する解析手段16と、を含む。例えば、解析手段16は、波浪の影響を受けて移動する浮標12の軌跡としての楕円軌道の長径42の長さと、撮影手段14から浮標12の楕円軌道を視たときの長径42に相当する長径相当部分44の長さとを算出し、これらの比に基づいて波浪の進行方向Tを解析する。これにより、浮標12と撮影手段14と解析手段16とを利用する、単純な構成でありながら、波浪の進行方向Tを解析することができる。【選択図】図1
