Summary:To provide a glass plate shape measuring method, with which it is possible to confirm the size of warp of a glass plate without reversing the glass plate.SOLUTION: The shape measuring method comprises: a measurement step S21 in which a glass plate is placed with a first principal surface facing upward on a reference plane and height positions of first principal surface of the glass plate are measured at multiple points; a first determination step S22 in which a direction of warp per block is determined for each block into which the glass plate is divided, on the basis of a measurement result of the measurement step; and second determination steps S23-S25 in which a warp value per block is obtained in accordance with the direction of warp of the glass plate per block having been obtained by the first determination step. When it is determined in the second determination steps S24-S25 that an object block has a warp in such a direction that the top side protrudes, a correction value, with the height position of first principal surface of the glass plate in said block corrected, is obtained and this correction value is defined to be an estimated warp value W2 of said block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】ガラス板を反転させることなく、ガラス板の反りの大きさを確認できるガラス板の形状測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】形状測定方法は、第1の主面を上側にしてガラス板を基準面の上に載置し、ガラス板の第1の主面の高さ位置を複数箇所にて測定する測定工程S21と、測定工程の測定結果に基づいて、ガラス板を区分けしたブロック毎にブロック毎の反りの向きを判定する第1判定工程S22と、第1判定工程により得られたブロックのガラス板の反りの向きに応じて、ブロック毎の反り値を求める第2判定工程S23〜S25とを備えている。第2判定工程S24〜S25は、対象となるブロックが上側に凸となる向きの反りを有すると判定された場合、当該ブロックにおけるガラス板の第1の主面の高さ位置を補正した補正値を求め、この補正値を当該ブロックの推定反り値W2とする。【選択図】図6
