Summary:To provide a detection device and an electronic apparatus in which excellent detection accuracy can be realized.SOLUTION: The detection device comprises: plural illumination means each having an array light source and an illumination optical system; detection means for detecting the reflected light of light having been illuminated from the plural illumination means and reflected by a detection object; and illumination light control means for reducing, for each of the plural illumination means, the intensity or illuminance of one portion where illumination light rays from the adjacent illumination means overlap to be smaller than the intensity or illuminance of other portions where illumination light rays from the adjacent illumination means do not overlap.
