To provide a lubricant amount control device for a gear capable of properly adjusting a supply amount of a lubricant in consideration of the degree of cumulative damage received by the gear for transmitting driving force.SOLUTION: A TCU 70 constituting a lubricant amount control device 1 for a gear includes: an input torque acquisition portion 701 acquiring input torque input to a gear (reduction gear 38) for transmitting driving force; a cumulated number counting portion 702 for cumulatively counting the number of times when a duration time in a high load operation state reaches a prescribed unit time, in the high load operation state where the input torque is over a prescribed torque; a cumulative damage acquisition portion 703 determining the cumulative damage degree of the gear on the basis of the counted cumulative number of times; and a lubricant amount control portion 705 adjusting a supply amount of the lubricant supplied to the gear on the basis of the cumulative damage degree.
