To provide a hygienically superior fibrous material processing device.SOLUTION: A fibrous material processing device comprises a processing unit that processes a material containing fiber and a humidifying device that moisturizes the material processed by the processing unit. The humidifying device comprises: a first humidifier that includes a container having a storage space for storing a liquid, a liquid retaining unit provided in the container, and an emission unit that vaporizes the liquid retained in the liquid retaining unit and discharges it with air; a first liquid discharging unit that discharges the liquid in the container; and a control unit that controls the operation of the first liquid discharging unit.
