Summary:To provide an optical filter excellent in near infrared ray shielding property irrespective of being thin in thickness.SOLUTION: The optical filter satisfies the following requirements (a) to (d): (a) in a region of wavelength 700 nm to 900 nm, minimal value (ODa-0) of optical density (OD value) of light entering a surface of the optical filter from a vertical direction is 2.0 or more; (b) in a region of wavelength 430 nm to 580 nm, average value (Ta-0) of transmittance of light entering a surface of the optical filter from a vertical direction is 40% or more; (c) in a region of wavelength 420 nm to 900 nm, average value (Rfa-5) of reflectance ratio of light entering a surface of the optical filter from an angle of 5 degrees to a vertical direction is 20% or less; (d) at least three types of compound (A) having absorption maximum in a region of wavelength 650 nm or more and less than 950 nm are contained.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】厚みが薄くても近赤外線遮蔽性に優れた光学フィルターを提供する。【解決手段】要件(a)〜(d)を満たす光学フィルター:(a)波長700nm〜900nmの領域において、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から入射する光に対する光学濃度(OD値)の最小値(ODa-0)が2.0以上である;(b)波長430nm〜580nmの領域において、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から入射する光の透過率の平均値(Ta-0)が40%以上である;(c)波長420nm〜900nmの領域において、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向に対して5度の角度から入射する光に対する反射率の平均値(Rfa-5)が20%以下である;(d)波長650nm以上950nm未満の領域に吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を少なくとも3種含有する層を含む。【選択図】なし
