Summary: | To provide a method for producing an insert sintered compact where, even in the case variation is present in the height of a sintered compact such as a sintered bearing, the sintered component and an exterior component such as a resin component can be suitably integrated by insert molding.SOLUTION: A method for producing an insert sintered component comprises a sintered component formation step of forming a sintered component comprising a first edge part and a second edge part, a die for molding comprises a stationary die and a movable die, and their parting face is formed along the moving direction of the movable die. The insert molding step comprises a die assembly stage where the sintered component is held between the stationary die and the movable die, the movable die is moved along the parting face, and the sintered component is pressed toward the stationary die by the movable die, thus the circumference of a region other than a part abutted against the stationary die in the first edge part of the sintered component and a part abutted against the movable die in the second edge part of the sintered component is covered by the die for molding at intervals to form a cavity at the circumference of the sintered component and a filling stage where, after the die assembly stage, a molten material to form into an exterior component is filled into the cavity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】焼結軸受等の焼結部品の高さにバラツキがある場合でも、焼結部品と樹脂部品等の外装部品とをインサート成形により適切に一体化する。【解決手段】第1端部及び第2端部を有する焼結部品を形成する焼結部品形成工程とインサート成形工程とを有し、成形用金型は、固定型及び可動型を有し、これらのパーティング面は可動型の移動方向に沿って形成されており、インサート成形工程では、固定型と可動型との間に焼結部品を保持し、パーティング面に沿わせて可動型を移動させ、該可動型により焼結部品を固定型に向けて押圧することにより、焼結部品の第1端部における固定型に当接する部位、及び焼結部品の第2端部における可動型に当接する部位を除く領域の周囲を成形用金型により間隔をあけて覆って焼結部品の周囲にキャビティを形成する型組み工程と、型組み工程の後にキャビティに外装部品となる溶融材料を充填する充填工程とを有する。【選択図】 図1 |
