Summary:To provide an engine which can operate with its mode switched between a gas mode and a diesel mode.SOLUTION: An engine includes: an intake manifold; a gas injector 98; a main fuel injection valve 79; and an engine control device 73. The intake manifold supplies air to cylinders. The gas injector 98 injects a gas fuel into the air supplied by the intake manifold to mix the gas fuel into the air. The main fuel injection valve 79 injects a liquid fuel into the cylinders.
