Summary:To provide a water-cooled motor having a cylindrical cooling water passage through which cooling water uniformly flows and which can efficiently perform cooling and can be easily assembled.SOLUTION: A water-cooled motor includes: a motor body (30); a lid member (40) attached to one end side of the motor body (30); and a water jacket (50) that covers an outer peripheral surface (36) of the motor body (30) and having a cooling water inflow section (56) and a cooling water outflow section (55), provided to a water jacket body (51) and an outer peripheral surface of the water jacket body (51), respectively. The water jacket body (51) has a cylindrical body (53) provided with an inner peripheral surface (53a) that forms a cylindrical cooling water passage (L) between the water jacket and the outer peripheral surface (36) of the motor body (30), and a diameter reduction unit (54) adjacent to the cylindrical body (53).
