To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of suppressing damage.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 1 that purifies exhaust gas G by disposing a carrier 3 on which a catalyst is supported in an exhaust pipe 2 includes: a first holding member 4 provided around the carrier 3 and disposed between the carrier 3 and the exhaust pipe 2; and a cover part 5 disposed upstream of the carrier 3, covering the upstream side of the first holding member 4 and caused to abut on the carrier 3.
