Summary:To provide an ultrasonic sensor capable of suppressing the scattering of ultrasonic waves at a lid.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor includes a case 50 in which an accommodating recess 51 is formed, a sensor unit 10 that is housed in the accommodating recess 51 of the case 50, and includes a plurality of ultrasonic elements 25 that transmit the exploration waves and receive the reflected waves reflected by an obstacle as the received waves, and a lid 80 that is arranged in the case 50 so as to close the accommodating recess 51 and constitutes the casing 40.
