Summary:To provide a solid oxide electrochemical stack capable of easily preventing the deterioration of a glass seal material and the deterioration of a peripheral member due to the transpiration of a glass seal material.SOLUTION: A solid oxide electrochemical stack includes: solid oxide electrochemical cells each including a porous hydrogen electrode, a porous air electrode and a dense electrolyte; a separator for isolating the solid oxide electrochemical cells arranged adjacent to each other; and a gas seal material arranged at a site that needs to be hermetically sealed on a contact surface between components. The gas seal material includes a glass seal material, and the glass seal material is configured not to be exposed to a passage of supply gas to the hydrogen electrode and the air electrode and reaction product gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ガラスシール材の劣化、およびガラスシール材の蒸散による周辺部材の劣化を簡便に防止することのできる固体酸化物形電気化学スタックを提供する。【解決手段】多孔質な水素極と、多孔質な空気極と、緻密な電解質とを有する固体酸化物電気化学セルと、隣接して配設される前記固体酸化物電気化学セル同士を隔離するためのセパレータと、構成部材同士の接面のうち、気密封止する必要のある部位に配設されるガスシール材と、を備えた固体酸化物形電気化学セルスタックであって、前記ガスシール材は、ガラスシール材を含み、当該ガラスシール材が前記水素極及び前記空気極の供給ガス、及び反応生成ガスの流路に露出しない構成とされている。【選択図】図1
