Summary: | To provide an aqueous ink composition for a ball-point pen having a silicon carbide-based ball which enables formation of an aqueous ball-point pen that has a small coefficient of dynamic friction between a silicon carbide-based ball and a ball receiving seat and has smooth writing feeling, and has excellent writing feeling.SOLUTION: An aqueous ink composition for a ball-point pen having a silicon carbide-based ball contains a phosphate-based surface active agent which is represented by the following formula (I), and has an HLB of 6 or more and an acid value of 120 or more. In the formula, n is an integer of 0-20, R1 is an alkyl group having 1 or more carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 or more carbon atoms or an unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 4 or more carbon atoms, R2 is M or -(CH2CH2O)n-R3, R3 is an alkyl group having 1 or more carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 or more carbon atoms or an unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 4 or more carbon atoms, M is hydrogen, alkali metal, an ammonium group, an organic ammonium group or an organic amine group, and when M is two or more, each M may be different.SELECTED DRAWING: None
