Summary: | To provide a printing recording system and a management method of a printing recording system which can perform proper management of consumable supply that is used in a printing recording device.SOLUTION: The printing recording system comprises at least one printing recording device that performs printing on an object to be printed and a server connected to the printing recording device so that the server can communicate with the device. The server calculates current consumption time of consumable supply on the basis of data on an operation environment of the printing recording device and operation time of the consumable supply which are set or detected. Subsequently the server compares the calculated current consumption time with set effective time to determine a compared result, which then performs management of the consumable supply on the basis of the compared result. When the current consumption time reaches the set effective time or reaches the vicinity of the set effective time, the server displays on a display device the necessity of replacement of the consumable supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明は、印字記録装置に用いられる消耗品の適正な管理を実施することができる印字記録システム及び印字記録システムの管理方法を提供することである。【解決手段】印字記録システムは、印字対象物に印字を行う少なくとも1台の印字記録装置と、印字記録装置と相互に通信可能に接続されたサーバとを備えている。サーバは、設定されまたは検出される印字記録装置の稼働環境データと消耗品の稼働時間とに基づき消耗品の現在消耗時間を演算する。次に、サーバは、この演算した現在消耗時間と設定有効時間とを比較し、比較結果を求める。そして、この比較結果に基づき、消耗品の管理を行う。現在消耗時間が、設定有効時間に到達または設定有効時間近傍に到達している場合には、その消耗品を交換すべきであることを表示装置に表示する。【選択図】図1 |
