To provide a slot machine in which performance control means can execute operation confirmation control processing in power up, and which can start in an early stage a game followed by an operation of a performance unit according to a game content.SOLUTION: A slot machine comprises: game control means for controlling a game; a plurality of performance units; and performance control means for controlling the performance units. In power up in a state in which prescribed confirmation execution operation different from a power up operation is performed, the performance control means is caused to execute operation confirmation control processing for confirming an operation of the performance unit and to start game performance control processing for operating the performance unit in a mode according to a game content.
