To provide a driver monitoring system capable of inhibiting an unnecessary notification from being output.SOLUTION: A driver monitoring system 10 includes: a detection unit 11 that detects the posture of a driver sitting on a driver seat of a vehicle, using an image taken by an imaging device 21; a determination control unit 12 that determines, based on a situation concerning vehicle traveling acquired from the vehicle and the driver's posture detected by the detection unit 11, whether or not the collapse of the posture adversely affects the safety in vehicle traveling; and one or more notification units that give a notification concerning the collapse of the posture according to a result of the determination made by the determination control unit 12.
