Summary:To provide a printing device that inhibits operation stop of the control part upon occurrence of a momentary power failure.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises: a printing part that prints on a print medium; a control part that determines that an error has occurred when a first voltage corresponding to a power supply voltage supplied to the printing part is lower than a first threshold voltage; a power supply circuit that generates a drive voltage from a second voltage and supplies the drive voltage to the control part when an enable signal of a second voltage equal to or higher than a second threshold voltage is input by the power supply voltage; and a reset circuit that supplies a reset signal to the control part when a third voltage supplied by the power supply voltage becomes lower than a third threshold value. The first threshold is higher than the second and third thresholds. One or both of the power supply circuit and the reset circuit are provided with a voltage drop suppression circuit that suppresses a drop of a fourth voltage at a stage before the fourth voltage is input.
