To provide an intermittent coating device which forms a start portion and an end portion of a coating part into a bluff-like shape in intermittent coating, and to provide an intermittent valve used in the intermittent coating device.SOLUTION: An intermittent coating device includes: a die 14 which alternately forms coated parts and uncoated parts in a travelling web W to perform intermittent coating; a pump 30 which supplies a coating liquid in a tank 28; a first valve 100 which has a first inflow port 122 connected with the pump 30 and a first discharge port 120 and which discharges the coating liquid intermittently from the first discharge port 120; and a suck-back device 300 connected between a coating liquid supply port 26 provided at the die 14 and the first discharge port 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】間欠塗工において塗工部の開始部分と終了部分とが崖状になる間欠塗工装置と、それに用いられる間欠バルブを提供する。【解決手段】走行するウエブＷに、塗工部と未塗工部とを交互に形成して間欠塗工を行うダイ１４と、タンク２８内の塗工液を供給するポンプ３０と、第１流入口１２２と第１吐出口１２０とを有し、第１流入口１２２にポンプ３０が接続され、第１吐出口１２０から塗工液を間欠して吐出する第１バルブ１００と、ダイ１４に設けられた塗工液の供給口２６と第１吐出口１２０の間に接続されたサックバック装置３００とを有する。【選択図】 図１
