Summary:To provide a packet processing apparatus that can prevent compression of the band of a low priority packet.SOLUTION: A packet processing apparatus connects a distribution station with a toll center connected by radio communication by using a dynamic TDD system, with an upstream channel and a downstream channel of wired full-duplex communication. The packet processing apparatus stores a plurality of allocation patterns for allocating an upstream or downstream link direction for every sub frame in a predetermined period of the TDD system, and learns a periodic pattern of a high priority packet for every TS in the sub frame for every link direction. The packet processing apparatus has a first gate that opens/closes output of the high priority packet to a line for every TS in the sub frame, a second gate that opens/closes output of a low priority packet to the line for every TS in the sub frame, and a control unit that sets a gate state of the first gate and the second gate for a predetermined TS in the sub frame in the same link direction as that of the periodic pattern to a priority state for preferentially outputting the high priority packet in accordance with the periodic pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】低優先パケットの帯域圧迫を抑制できるパケット処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】パケット処理装置は、ダイナミックTDD方式を用いて無線通信で接続する分散局と集中局との間を有線の全二重通信の上り回線及び下り回線で接続する。パケット処理装置は、TDD方式の所定期間内のサブフレーム毎に上り又は下りのリンク方向を割当てる複数の割当パターンを記憶し、リンク方向毎のサブフレーム内のTS毎の高優先パケットの周期性パターンを学習する。パケット処理装置は、サブフレーム内のTS毎に回線への高優先パケットの出力を開閉する第1のゲートと、サブフレーム内のTS毎に回線への低優先パケットの出力を開閉する第2のゲートと、周期性パターンと同じリンク方向のサブフレーム内の所定TSに対する第1のゲート及び第2のゲートのゲート状態を、周期性パターンに応じて高優先パケットを優先的に出力する優先状態に設定する制御部とを有する。【選択図】図7
