Summary:To monitor appropriateness of an output result of a battery back and thereby prevent a secondary battery from having excessive input and output power.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle comprises: a battery pack 10 including a battery ECU 13; and a gate ECU 60 installed separately from the battery back 10. The battery pack 10 also includes a battery 11 (secondary battery) and a battery sensor 12 which detects a state of the battery 11. The battery ECU 13 is adapted to set upper limit values PWin and PWout of battery power of the battery 11 using a detection value of the battery sensor 12. The gate ECU 60 sets guard values GWin and GWout of the upper limit values of the battery power using a temperature of the battery 11 and sets the upper limit values Win and Wout of the battery power so as not to exceed the guard values GWin and GWout.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】電池パックからの出力結果の適否を監視し、二次電池の入出力電力が過剰となることを抑制する。
