Summary:To provide means for determining whether mechanical connection of a rotational position detector is good in a process of measuring an angular error of the rotational position detector.SOLUTION: In a process of measuring an angular error, a fitted part of a detector rotary shaft 3 is fitted coaxially and screwed to a fitting part of a tester rotary shaft 20 to make mechanical connection. Further, a coupling 24 of a rotational position detector is screwed to a fixation part 23 of a tester to perform mechanical connection. Based upon a rotational position that a master detector 30 detects, an angular error in rotational position calculated by a calculation part is then found. Based upon a magnitude of an error component of 20 cycles or less obtained by Fourier-transforming the angular error, it is determined whether the mechanical connection as to the detector rotary shaft 3 and the mechanical connection as to the coupling 24 is good.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】回転位置検出器の角度誤差を測定する工程にて、回転位置検出器の機械的結合の良否を判定する手段を提供する。【解決手段】角度誤差を測定する工程では、まず、検出器回転軸3の被嵌合部が、テスター回転軸20の嵌合部に同芯で嵌合され、ネジ締めされることで、機械的な結合が行われる。また、回転位置検出器のカップリング24が、テスターの固定部23にネジ締めされて機械的な結合が行われる。そして、マスター検出器30が検出した回転位置に基づいて、算出部によって算出された回転位置の角度誤差が求められる。角度誤差をフーリエ変換して得た20周期以下の誤差成分の大きさに基づいて、検出器回転軸3についての機械的な結合、または、カップリング24についての機械的な結合の良否判定が行われる。【選択図】図2
