Summary:To seal a charging port in a vertically raised state.SOLUTION: A core molding device includes: a storage part storing core sand; a cylindrical kneading pot into which the core sand is charged through a charging port to which the storage part is connected; a kneading stick extending in a longitudinal direction of the kneading pot inside the kneading pot and also rotating around a shaft parallel to the longitudinal direction to knead the core sand; and a piston jetting the kneaded core sand through longitudinal one end of the kneading pot. The kneading pot turns around a first shaft to be shifted to a horizontally laid state and a vertically raised state, charges the core sand through the charging port located at the upper side of the kneading pot in the horizontally laid state, kneads the core sand with the kneading stick, and jets the core sand downward by the piston in the vertically raised state to charge the core sand into a mold. The storage part includes a spherical valve turning around a second shaft parallel to the first shaft while coming in contact with the charging port in the horizontally laid state to open/close the charging port, is connected to the kneading pot so as to be turned around the second shaft, and retains its posture while making the valve come in contact with the charging port when the kneading pot is turned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】縦起こしの状態での投入口のシール。【解決手段】中子砂を貯蔵する貯蔵部、貯蔵部が連結された投入口から中子砂が投入される筒状の混練釜、混練釜の内部において混練釜の長手方向に延設されると共に長手方向に平行な軸周りに回転し中子砂を混練する混練棒、及び混練された中子砂を混練釜の長手方向の一端から射出するピストンを備え、混練釜は、第1軸周りに回動して横倒しの状態と縦起こしの状態とに移行でき、横倒しの状態で、混練釜の上側に位置する投入口から中子砂を混練釜に投入し、混練棒により混練し、縦起こしの状態で、ピストンにより下方向に中子砂を射出して型に充填する中子造型装置。貯蔵部は、横倒しの状態で投入口に当接しつつ第1軸と平行な第2軸周りに回動して投入口を開閉する球体状のバルブを備えると共に、第2軸周りに回動可能に混練釜に連結されており、混練釜が回動する際、バルブを投入口に当接させたまま姿勢を維持する。【選択図】図4
