Summary:To provide a power generator capable of effectively recovering waste heat from an engine body part.SOLUTION: Provided is a power generator 10 which generates power by recovering waste heat from an engine 20. The power generator 10 comprises a Peltier element part 11 including: a low-temperature side metal plate part 15 cooled by a coolant; and a high-temperature side metal plate part 13, disposed on an engine body part 20A side with respect to the low-temperature side metal plate part 15, and fitted so as to be capable of transmitting the waste heat from the engine 20 to the engine body part 20A. The Peltier element part 11 can generate power by the temperature difference between the low-temperature side metal plate part 15 and the high-temperature side metal plate part 13.
