To improve the operability.SOLUTION: A sales data processing device includes display control means for controlling the display of a display unit, acquisition means for acquiring commodity identification information for identifying a commodity, and registration means for sequentially registering a commodity identified by each of pieces of the commodity identification information every time the commodity identification information is acquired by the acquisition means. The acquisition means can also acquire special identification information that is different in type from the commodity identification information.
