Summary:To provide an ignition device for an end face combustion type rocket motor, which can achieve a small size and low cost.SOLUTION: An ignition device 2 for an end face combustion type rocket motor includes an initiator 28 fixed to an end plate 16 on the opposite side of a propulsion direction, a container 22 made explosive, which is fixed to an end plate around the initiator, and an igniting power 26 loaded in the container made of explosive, in which the container made of explosive has a burn-out property.EFFECT: By having a configuration in which the igniting powder in contact with the initiator is loaded in the igniting power container manufactured of explosive components to give the burn-out property to the entire ignition device, it becomes unnecessary to impart heat-resistant strength to the container of the ignition device, which is required at the time of propellant combustion. As a result, a heat insulating material is not required for the ignition device, and it is possible to achieve weight reduction and cost reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】小型で低コストを実現可能な端面燃焼型ロケットモータ用の点火装置を提供する。【解決手段】端面燃焼型ロケットモータ用点火装置2は、推進方向と反対側の鏡板16に固定されたイニシエータ28と、イニシエータの周囲の鏡板に固定された火薬製容器22と、火薬製容器に装填した点火薬26と、を備え、火薬製容器は焼尽性を有する。【効果】イニシエータに接する点火薬を火薬成分で製造した点火薬容器に装填する構成とし、点火装置全体に焼尽性を付与することで、推進薬燃焼時に必要となる点火装置の容器に耐熱強度を持たせる必要がなくなる。その結果、点火装置について、断熱材が不要となり、軽量化、かつ、低コスト化を実現させることが可能となる。【選択図】図2
