Summary: | To provide a vehicle body side part structure that can efficiently absorb am impact load input from the front side of a front pillar by a plastic deformation of a front part region of the front pillar and a side sill.SOLUTION: A front pillar 3 includes a pillar inner panel and a pillar outer panel 11. A side sill 4 includes a sill inner panel and a sill outer panel 13. A side wall 11a on an outer side in a vehicle width direction and a front wall 11a of the pillar outer panel 11 extend to positions overlapped with the side sill 4 in an up-down direction. A defective portion 14 is disposed at a front portion of the sill outer panel 13. A reinforcement plate 15 extending in a vehicle up-down direction is connected in a rear region of an inner surface of the outer pillar panel 11. A lower end of the reinforcement plate 15 extends to a position overlapped with the defective portion 14 in the up-down direction at a rear side of the defective portion 14. A lower edge portion of the side wall of the pillar outer panel 11 is connected to a side wall 13a on an outer side in the vehicle width direction of the sill outer panel 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】フロントピラーの前方から入力された衝撃荷重をフロントピラーとサイドシルの前部領域の塑性変形によって効率良く吸収することができる車体側部構造を提供する。【解決手段】フロントピラー3はピラーインナパネルとピラーアウタパネル11を有する。サイドシル4はシルインナパネルとシルアウタパネル13を有する。ピラーアウタパネル11の車幅方向外側の側壁11aと前壁11bはサイドシル4と上下方向でラップする位置まで延びる。シルアウタパネル13の前部には欠損部14が設けられる。ピラーアウタパネル11の内側面の後部領域には車両上下方向に延びる補強板15が結合される。補強板15の下端は、欠損部14の後方側で欠損部14と上下方向でラップする位置まで延びる。ピラーアウタパネル11の側壁の下縁部はシルアウタパネル13の車幅方向外側の側壁13aに接合される。【選択図】図2 |
